Suggested Fabrics: Woven no stretch, Cotton lawn, Quilting Cotton, Satin, Taffeta, Rayon Blends

Supplies Needed:  

  • ½ yd. cotton fabric for the dress 
  • ¼ yd. cotton fabric for lining and ruffles  
  • ¼ yd. cotton fabric for corset  
  • ½" wide hook and loop tape 
  • Thread 
  • 8 eyelets for corset  
  • Eyelet punch/setter  
  • Cord or ribbon to lace up the corset


Skill Level: This is an intermediate level pattern. It’s wonderfully designed, and not complicated.

The first study that I did was with my Bible instructor for one solid year we had two classes a week. Her name was Francis Phelan and she was EW kenyon's former secretary and she also was part of his church group and co-authored with him in the, Kenyon Herald. I believe this was in Washington DC. Not 100% on that , but I think it was.
